Laser Cutting

Midstate Manufacturing’s lasers cut to precision tolerances. Our technicians use five lasers including (1)Trumpf #3030-2600 watt, (1) Trumpf #4030-3000 watt laser, (3) Trumph# L6030  3000 watt with pallet changers. Sheet size capacity is up to 240” long x 84” wide. A five axis laser is planned for 2014.

With this technology, Midstate has the ability to laser material as thin as 0.005”, or as heavy as ¾” steel plate, ¼” aluminum, ¼” brass or muntz metal and ½” stainless steel.

Our parts are laser cut with high pressure gases for sharp, clean edges that maintain close tolerances and high quality. This is a significant factor for today’s competitive manufacturing markets.

Midstate’s lasers have the ability to cut tubing, etch part numbers and locate points for secondary operations saving time and cost.
